Welcome to A1 Parrot Rescue

We are based in south Lincolnshire and have over 20 year’s experience of birds, ranging from budgies to macaws.

We are family run.

We have been takeing in birds for various reasons for a number of years.

We have decided the time is right to move foward to help more birds

We will also take in poultry and sometimes birds of prey.

We hope to have provided you with a much information as possible about us, but please feel free to contact us for any further questions or advice.

We will take any bird regardless of age, condition or behaviour.

 We will do what is best for the bird and where possible will endeavor to keep the bird with his/her owner if possible.

We have a bird behaviorist to deal with all problems.

We have taken birds that are screamers, biters, pluckers, self mutilating birds that find themselves without a home through no fault of their own.

Never will we turn a bird away. Room, love and care will always be found.

We aim to place most birds in homes that suit them.

We will not allow birds to go for breeding, so do not ask. If asking about taking on a bird you will be vetted asked lots of questions some of which you may not like.

Some birds are never re homed as they either have special needs or stay at the request of their owners
