Some causes of feather plucking are

Disease health problems
Birds can feather pluck if they have a health problem, it is always advisable to get tests done to rule out health problems or disease

Feather irritation
Just like humans birds can get irritations and scratch, this can lead to plucking feathers. This is why regular bathing or misting is good for your bird
Bad wing clipping can be a cause of plucking as the feathers start to re grow they can irritate and your bird will pull them out
